Where can I use fireworks?

All the fireworks available from Discount Fireworks are suitable for home garden use. However if you wish to carry out a display on public land, you must get permission from your local council.

What time can I let off fireworks?

Fireworks can be let off until 11pm on most nights. The only exceptions are New Year, Chinese New Year and Diwali which permit use until 1am and Bonfires Night, Nov 5, which permits use until 12am.

Who can buy fireworks?

Anyone is allowed to buy fireworks for sale on Discount Fireworks as long as they are over 18 years of age and reside within mainland UK. Please contact us if unsure.

Will I need Firework Insurance?

All of the products sold by Discount Fireworks are covered by a £5 million public liability insurance. However if you are organising a public display further insurance may be required.

What happens if it rains or its windy?

Fireworks will work in the rain providing they are placed outside shortly before lighting. However excessive wind can be dangerous and we recommend postponing the display until the wind subsides.

How safe are your fireworks?

We only stock manufactures that comply with the European CE Safety Regulations. This means the fireworks have been fully tested to ensure that they are safe. Every firework will have instructions for use. With guidelines on safety distance and other procedures such as burying or staking.
